It'd just suck to take the timing belt off since it's practically brand new. Plus if I took the timing belt off, I'd want to replace valve stem seals too. At this point, rod bearings seem less invasive but beneficial enough to justify their replacement. Hoping to get on the road ASAP - since oil pan is coming off anyways I figured "why not replace the rod bearings". Good suggestion though.
